We don't have large account of the history of the home just yet. But Troy, the previous owner, said that the niece of the man who built the home lives only a few houses down from us. So I'm looking forward to speaking with her and hoping she will divulge lots of stories!
Here is what we do know:
The town of Lehi was settled in 1850. The town was known as many names historically such as Dry Creek, Evansville, Sulphur Springs, and Snow's Springs. It was officially named Lehi in 1852.
Our house was built in 1924. At that time the population of Lehi was about 3,000 people.
Our house was built on a farm land.
The "shed" in the backyard was the barn where cattle were fed & milked.
